What is the score you need to qualify for Electronics Technician in the Coast Guard?
Looking to do Electronics Technician for Coast Guard. Also, can any ETs describe to me life in the Coast Guard as an ET. Not to many videos on YouTube showing the kind of work ETs do. Also, kinds of personalities ETs work with. And any information period about life in the Coast Guard really. I wanna get a personal account of someones life in the Coast Guard.
ET requirements:
ASVAB: AFQT = 65 or MK + EI + GS = 172 w/ a minimum AR of 52
Normal Color Vision: Required
Normal Hearing: N/A
Security Clearance & U.S. Citizenship: Required
First Unit 4 Month Wait: Required
Obligated Service: 36 Months (Upon Graduation)
Other Prerequisites: None

ET is a great rate, it may well be what I would have picked myself had I enlisted. You can also get to school and make rate pretty quickly after enlisting, unlike many rates in the Coast Guard right now.
